Members as well as a couple of non-members. We encourage
people to select from this list first, as these people have
shown an eagerness to be part of our group. ASMP also has
a national search for Find-an-Assistant.
ASMP: Emerging Associate Member 2008 Available
to assist greater Charlotte area and will travel with compensation.
Knowledge: Nikon Digital, A+ computer certified, 7+ years
of Photoshop experience, 1+ years Lightroom 1.3: Dreamweaver
CS3: Fireworks CS3: Nikon capture NX. Born and raised in
the digital age, and very knowledgeable about computers.
Work with a PC familiar with Mac
Experience: Worked at Wolf Camera photo lab full time, UNCC
Student media, assisted several photographers in the Concord
area work consisted of Photoshop editing, second shooter,
and studio help. Assisted since 2007
Region: Triad, but will travel throughout the entire Southeast

Based in the Triad, but able to assist/travel throughout
NC & VA (and beyond). 18+ years professional photography
experience + assisting throughout the 90's to current.
Experience with 4x5 view cameras, medium format (Hasselblad & Mamiya),
Canon digital and film cameras, Nikon film cameras & some
knowledge of Nikon digital. Lighting: Photogenic, Speedotron,
Norman, Hensel, and Elincrom. Good at scouting locations. Experienced
with Macs, Photoshop CS2 & earlier versions. Also
have 10+ years experience in office management with Pro
Camera, Inc. (Charlottesville, VA).
Available to assist in Richmond, VA or Triangle areas;
assisted in the Richmond area since 2003; proficient with
Canon digital and film systems; familiar with Nikon digital;
some medium-format experience;
Lighting: Dynalite, Speedotron, Calumet, White Lightning & ambient
controls;
BFA, 2003 in Photography from Virginia Commonwealth University.
ASMP Associate Member 18 years photography experience.
Background with Nikon 35mm film & didgital, Canon digital,
Super Graphic 4x5. Experienced with Speedotron lighting,
Norman, AlienBees and various strobes. Knowledge of both
Mac & Pc formats and various photoshop programs. Have
gear and will travel. Office located near Greensboro, NC.
Digital workflow qualifications: digital SLR cameras, Photoshop,
Indesign, Illustrator, Bridge and Lightroom software Lighting
and grip qualifications: Broncolor, Speedotron, ProPhoto,
White Lighting, Elinchrome, HMIs, Dynalites, monolights
in general. B.S in Still Photography, Ithaca College, 2004
M.A. Oklahoma University I have a valid passport (Brazilian)
and am able to travel. I speak Portuguese, Spanish, some
German in addition to English. I am willing to travel whenever
needed as well as work on weekends. I freelance as an assistant
and shoot some editorial jobs for local magazines. I am
easy going, very adaptable and take direction very well.
I am not afraid to work hard and am eager to learn. References:
