We'll let Barbara describe her own program...
"My presentation is about the career of a self-taught
photographer who entered the then male-dominated fashion
photography world as the first woman in a generation. I
will show a wide variety of work done throughout that career
and discuss how these wonderful projects came about.
"I
do not concentrate on the technical side of photography
— although I do cite interesting technical aspects when
appropriate — rather on the creative, conceptual side
of photography, based on my background in fine arts and
fashion.
"There are many funny stories, touching stories
and professional stories that make up what I hope is an
inspirational, entertaining evening."
